Miscellaneous Catch Up Post
- Ryan, should you like Wilco to enjoy the movie? I'm not a fan...
- Ron, I think Noelle figured Charlie Sexton "looked British..." ;)
- Dan, thanks for the Elbow input. I'm not sure where I am on that whole genre. I'm not into Coldplay, but I think I need to give some of the albums on your list a listen or two.... I love the Notwist -- does that indicate anything? Oh, but I HATE Pink Floyd with a passion that is puzzling. [I'm an odd duck, you'll find out soon if Marni hasn't warned you...]
-Marni and Dan: I think what is needed here is a CD primer on this genre -- you know, the Doves, Elbow, Longwave. Is it called Britpop now? It's kind of more dreamy & lush than Britpop in my mind. I'm buying South, so I can add that.... If you do a CD with some of the representative songs you like, I'll make copies and send it out to whomever's interested.
