Go Lance Kerwin!!! That guy made my knees weak, which is just pathetic. But he was a teenager on t.v., and real in a way that David Cassidy never was. He had soul. ;) Where, oh where, is he now?
It is fascinating how this retro, or "classic," alternative is stuff that wasn't on the radio (I know, Marn, except for LIR) when it came out. I think that often -- even at 80s nights and all those songs we now take to "identify" the 80s. Where did you hear ABC on the radio? Nowhere. Just MTV, which I guess is the equivalent when looking back and shaping what we consider 'nostalgia.'
